Dreaming in Blue: Poetry of balance by Anne Brooke- A review

This poetry collection focuses on the relationship between women and the world around them. Discover one woman’s search for the perfect life balance, and discover what is lost and what is gained on the journey. Can nature really soothe our minds, what is the role of people in our lives, and where can our freedom really be found?

Hi everyone, this is post number 51 on my blog. Surprising, right? But nonetheless, I’m so excited about this. And thank you so much readers for reading and liking the posts.

Review:

So, now this is my first time reviewing a poetry book. I normally do not read poetry books but I read one or two poems at once. But because I saw posts about the poems in this book, I was very intrigued and finally read it.

Then I loved it. There are funny ones and I am just in love with those. The emotional ones have my heart. I can say, the poems make me think and fantasize. Poetry is such a strong form of art. Really.

Trust me, you will like reading this book 🙂

There’s feelings about birds, flowers, Mondays, and just life in general. I feel like after reading fictional novels, its nice to read some poems that make you smile. Just like taking a break. This collection is like a drizzle on a hot day. Like the ice cream I ate yesterday. Soothing and fun.

Highly recommended.

It was fun. Some poems were really emotional, some made me laugh, and some made me think. Reading the poems, I imagined a short story. Just really fun! Looking forward to reread this!
